Since the human species left the nomadic life, mankind has been exploiting the resources the environment offered or processed them to meet their needs.
From these use and transformations have emerged many ethnographic constructions that abound in the Sierra de San Vicente and are in good condition.
We understand by ethnographical construction anything that has been made by the inhabitants of this land for the development of its social and economic activity and can not be considered archaeological ruins or architectural monuments.
The main economic activity in the mountains has been the livestock and buildings associated with it are numerous.
But the ethnographic heritage of the Sierra not only consists of buildings but also their customs, culture, traditions and mountain-life festivities.
